Dear RPI Research Community,
We wanted to call your attention to NSF’s upcoming transition which will require the use of SciENcv (Science Experts Network Curriculum Vitae) for the completion of Biographical Sketches and Current and Pending documents, effective October 23rd, 2023. After this date, the NSF fillable PDF copies will no longer be accepted and compliant Biosketches and CPS documents must be generated via SciENcv.
The intention of the new requirement is to help reduce administrative burden on the research community at large and assist research-active faculty and staff with maintaining and updating their information. Note that both NCBI and ORCiD integrate with SciENcv, making information easy to share and populate.
Additional guidance from NSF, including step-by-step instructions on completing your SciENcv profile, is available here, along with a short 3-minute video tutorial. Should you have any issues with the platform, you can contact the NCBI Help Desk.
If you have not already done so, please familiarize yourself with SciENcv and begin to populate your personnel documents ahead of the October 23rd deadline.
